Reviews
Interesting menu composition, very good food, extensive wine list with some real gems. In the unusually vast selection of wines by the glass lies a little challenge. Best to order half glasses and drink them fast.
Service is competent and friendly.
Prices very fair.
Excellent desserts
A wonderful place to enjoy a glass or two of wine accompanied by smaller dishes like cheese, olives and home made bread. Expert advice is available if you can't decide between the many options.
I’ve been here quite often already and with every visit a certain coolness/bitterness in both the owner's attitude and the overall atmosphere grows more and more creating an unexpectedly exclusive vibe that detracts from the experience. The owner seems to be a bitter introvert, so for his and your sake, avoid any interaction in order to have a niceish evening. Wine selection (and food) are good. But if you want a kind and cozy atmosphere, there’s plenty of nicer winebars in Vienna.
Fantastic wine menu with lots of interesting wine choice. There are varies pairing mix. The dinner also beautifully crafted. Lovely place to spend dinner time with friends and business dinner
It is a great restaurant, fancy but simple.
Food level and presentation close to fine dining, with fish and vegetables impeccable.
Gorgeous list of wines, more than 300 labels, I guess.
The service is good, but the waiting time among courses is too long.
Probably my favorite bistro in Vienna. Really enjoyed the food quality and taste. However, I liked the vegetarian and fish dishes far better than the meat dishes.
If you are serious about wine, this is your place. The staff is so kind and incredibly helpful in guiding you to have the best wine experience possible. This gorgeous establishment is the kind of place where you delight in having an extraordinary glass of wine with food made from impeccable ingredients that make every course enjoyable.
Very nice wine bar!
The critical need to know information here is the stunning by-the-glass wine selection. I haven't counted but there should be easily over 60 wines, moreover for the more premium wines you can choose between a full glass or a tasting size. During my visit I sampled around 7 different wines, ranging from local heroes to Burgundy to Champagne. The bottle list is not to frown upon either!
Food wise, I had some really good charcuterie and bread to start with. The Wiener Schnitzel with parsley potatoes was just amazing. Way better than other famous Schnitzel places I have visited in Vienna over the years.
Staff is serious about wine and fun to interact with. So overall, great wines and really nice food - Will come again when in town.
